Silverman Trykowski Associates attends Greentown Labs’ new location announcement on Thursday July 18th! STA is designing the new facility for Greentown Labs, an organization that provides access to space, equipment and funding to new clean-tech energy startups. The space includes a 9,700 SF Prototyping space, a 9,100 SF Open Office and a 2,220 SF Events space.
In attendance at the announcement were Governor Deval Patrick and Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone. Mayor Curtatone calls the move fitting because Somerville is not “an innovation district, or center, [it’s] an innovation city”. Governor Partick congratulated Greentown Labs for exemplifying leadership in the Commonwealth’s innovation economy.
The new space is located at 28 Dane Street, Somerville, MA. Neighbors include the famed Maker Space, Artisan’s Asylum. Take a look at some of our design, and photos of the event below!
